Peeping Tom!

We have our very own peeping Tom, but at our house we call him Tattoo (he has a few other names, but I won't get into them)! Ever since we moved into our new house he has figured out a way to "watch" us.

This ledge is about 3 feet off the ground, but he loves to perch on it. If he isn't watching us, Tattoo's other hobbies include: laying in the sun, laying in warm laundry, playing with his sister, Piper (pictured below) and playing fetch with his Dad!

And Baby Makes Three!

Brady and I will be parents in a few short weeks (14 weeks to be exact (by exact, I mean if she arrives on her due date)). We are very excited! Thought I should show some of her pictures and I'll update as we get new ones! Her name will be Ellis Averi, although Brady only refers to her as Baby Ellis!

10 weeks

14 weeks - asleep with her arm over her eyes

18 weeks

19 weeks - Its a GIRL!

22 weeks - asleep with her arm over her head

So far at almost 26 weeks everything has been great with my first pregnancy! No morning sickness or anything! I think she'll be shy because she doesn't like to kick for anyone but me. Brady has only felt her move a couple of times. I go back to the doctor next week and I'll update again with new pictures and news! But first, one more picture of our family (all 3 of us)!

There's Remodeling in the Air!

These are a few pics from our house before we started remodeling. The first shows the "rooster" wall paper that was in the kitchen. Second is the living room looking down from the loft. And the third is another view of our living room, mainly showing our fireplace.

Sorry, these photos aren't the best, they were taken with our phone cameras.

Retexturing the popcorn ceiling.

First spray with water, scrap off all the wet, nasty popcorn goo, retexture (with the help of long armed friends and family), and finally repaint!

This shows the incredible mess that retexturing a ceiling makes. Especially when your ceiling is 17 feet high! Luckily we were able to do all of these the weekend before our new flooring was going to be installed.

The half bath before pictures. The first one is before we moved in. The second is where we are now, although we have at least purchased the pedestal sink and new toilet. And under all the brown paper there is new tile.

Sometime I will post our "after" pictures. We are mostly finished with these projects (except for the bathroom), but our house is not yet ready to be photographed due to Christmas decorations being only half picked up.

First Post!

Yea! It's my first post.

Just trying to figure all of this out!
